What’s New in Beauty Lately?

Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing a different kind of post. I’m going to share what’s new in beauty lately. It may probably be a weekly or monthly series, because I’ll be sharing some of the latest beauty products I receive in the mail. It’s no secret that I receive so much beauty products to try. So much that if I were to post about each of them on a separate daily blog post, there won’t be enough days in a week! So I decided, why not share what’s new lately, all in one post. After all, there’s a lot of PR Packages Haul going around Youtube lately. I may try to make a video later on. But with my time right now, I’ll be sharing them in a blog post. Let’s get to it then!

What’s New in Beauty Lately?

*Disclosure: all products featured here were sent to me by the respective brands*

oxygenetix-foundation-2

Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation

This foundation is a complete coverage foundation meant for workouts. It has a breathable formula for healthier skin. I didn’t build it up in multiple layers when I went to the gym. But a single layer didn’t look like complete coverage to me. However, it felt light and stayed on during my work out. It’s pricey for $66. But I found that Oxygenetix is being sold on Amazon for a little less than $50.

dermalogica-hydra-blur-primer-3

Dermalogica Hydrablur

I haven’t tested it out but the Dermalogica Hydrablur looks promising. I’ve always liked Dermalogica products, you can read my latest review about their Eye Lift and Superfoliant here. This Hydrablur claims to blur fine lines and pores, hydrate and brighten for naturally-flawless skin. Lightweight, non-greasy primer minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, mattifies against oily shine and imparts a silky-smooth, luminous finish to skin. It’s a bit pricey for a primer at $47. But if this works, I’m totally all for it! Will update this when I try it out this week. Available at Ulta.

colorescience-mineral-sunscreen-powder-foundation-4

ColoreScience Whipped Mineral Sunscreen and Sunforgettable Travel Size

This ColoreScience Sunforgettable is a brush on sunscreen. Think mineral face powder or bronzer that will keep you protected from the sun, thanks to the SPF 50. Yes it’s really good… and good for your skin. Do you know that even Drew Barrymore wear its? Yup. If you don’t like the powder, then they have a whipped version. It’s water-proof, so it’s a perfect one to wear to the pool or beach. By the way, these new travel sizes are perfect for upcoming vacations. Price range for these: $34 for the whipped mineral sunscreen, and $57 for the small sunforgettable. The powder is pretty pricey. Both available at Ulta or Sephora.

coola-sunscreen-spray-5

Coola COOLAFornia Dreaming SPF Kit

This travel kit is just palm-y perfection and I’m saving up this kit for a future trip. But some of these products I’ve already tried and loved. The sizes in this kit is TSA-approved. So it’s all set and ready to go. All the sun protection you’ll need, from head to toe! $40 for the whole thing is pretty decent. And you can get this exact kit at Sephora. There’s a similar travel kit at Ulta too.

pur-bronze-your-selfie-no-filter-primer-6

Pür No Filter and Bronze Your Selfie

How cute is this package? Thank you Pür Cosmetics! You always have some of the best packages and this is no exception. The No Filter is another primer I need to test out. Because girl, we ain’t got time to filter! $26 for the Bronze Your Selfie will get you picture-perfect glow. The No FilterNo Filter, on the other hand is currently on sale for $20 from $33.

completely-bare-7

Completely Bare

With warmer weather and prepping for summer, it’s time for shorter bottoms and dresses, bikinis and what nots. If you like to keep it smooth, Completely Bare has a new Easy Off hair remover in a form of a spray! I have yet to test it out but if this works I’ll repurchase it. I’m all for easy and convenient beauty routines! Completely Bare is available at Ulta, but I haven’t seen the spray there.

no7-beauty-8

No7 Makeup Products

No7 sent me this Baggu envelope filled with their makeup products. One, I love the packaging. Just look at the blushes and bronzers! Two, they have really nice products that are good for your skin. And three, do you know they have a No7 Match Made app that you can download to your phone and get a skin tone analysis? That way, you can easily find makeup that matches your skin-true shade! Oh, and did I mention their beauty line is affordable? Go grab them at Ulta or Target.

avon-makeup-9

Avon Makeup

You may have seen me post this photo on my Instagram. What I love about Avon is their True Color Technology, ensuring accurate and pigment-rich, true-to-you color. They sent me a ton of lipsticks and mascaras in a couple of shades. So I reckon I’ll be sharing some of the colors with y’all! As always, you can find avon at www.avon.com.

elf-cosmetics-makeup-brushes-10

elf Cosmetics

elf Cosmetics is one of the most affordable but respectable brands out there. I’m quite impressed that they now have these chic clear brushes and makeup brush wipes. Hello? That’s genius! Most of the time, I end up cleaning my brushes after a few weeks because hello, I ain’t got time for that. But with wipes? Convenient, easy, disposable, portable… I can do this regularly now! Who else opens up a new brush set just because she hasn’t cleaned her old one *burying my face in shame now*? Brushes are like $12 and the wipes are $3. Available at elf Cosmetics site and Target among other retailers.

elf-cosmetics-wipes-facial-care-11

They also now have a massive line of skin care. I’m currently using their facial wipes. And I’m telling you, they remove makeup pretty good!!! I swear!

elf-cosmetics-makeup-festival-look-12

And of course, how cute is this Festival-ready package I got from them? I love the colors and the bandana/neckerchief was a pretty sweet touch! Thank you elf Cosmetics!

Lancome Visionnaire Crescendo

Lancome Visionnaire Crescendo + Bienfait UV Sunscreen + Matte Shaker

First off, I never met a Lancome beauty product I didn’t like. True story. Now I’m already a long time user of the Visionnaire Skin Corrector Cream. I may have been neglecting it as of late because I have a million products to try – which is pretty bad, changing up your skin routine every couple of days. If my skin can only talk, it’s probably saying, STOP IT ALREADY. But seriously though, if there’s a skincare brand that I trust, Lancome would have to be one of them. Yes they are pretty pricey but worth it. This is the serum that I’m currently using. This is the last one I finished – so good!!! Then this is the Crescendo, Sunscreen, and Matte Shaker lipstick featured above.
