Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? How time flies! We’re having family over so it’s gonna be a busy week with my nieces, food, drinks, and shopping! Hahaha! So let’s talk about what to wear on Thanksgiving. Have you planned your outfit yet? Today, I’m sharing ideas on what to wear on Thanksgiving. Chances are, you already have these items in your closet. But I’m also sharing why I picked out these pieces and where you can find similar ones below.
What to Wear on Thanksgiving
We are that family who SHOPS after Thanksgiving dinner. We take advantage of the sales for Holiday gifts. So yeah, I want to be comfortable, but at the same time look dressy for the holiday gathering.
So what better way to feel comfy and cozy and look dressed up than SWEATER DRESSES? They keep you warm. They are roomy – perfect for hiding the Thanksgiving feast. AND the bonus? They will allow you to try on pants in the corner when you’re Black Friday shopping and the line to the fitting room goes around the store. Hahaha!
Thermal Leggings or Tights
To keep you warm, opt for thermal leggings or tights. But you can also go for some faux leather leggings if you want to take it up a notch. I live for my SPANX faux leather leggings because not only are they looking stylish, they also hug me in all the right places. And they aren’t a pain to get in. Trust me on this. It’s not your typical Spanx underthings.
In my opinion, big scarves, coatigans, or ponchos elevate a look. They are cozy and feel like loungewear, but add that chic layer to any outfit. Can you believe that this one, along with the ear muffs I’m wearing are both from Shop Cracker Barrel? I couldn’t believe it myself. I had no idea they had these chic and stylish accessories! And guess what, this is only $19.99. Get it here while it’s still available. I’m also sharing others below, mostly under $50.
Finally, I’m wearing OTK boots! I know you may need to swap them out for Black Friday shopping. But for Thanksgiving dinner, this is a great pair of stylish boots to wear!
What are you wearing on Thanksgiving? Hope I give you ideas and inspire your Thanksgiving outfit. Xo.
