Today, I’m finally sharing part 2 of our Virginia Beach Travel post. Sorry if it has been delayed. I just feel a little burned out lately, after getting sick last week. Sometimes we just need to step back from all the work and relax. We could all use a vacation every now and then, right? That’s why today’s post couldn’t come at a better time. Writing this post is already inspiring me to plan our next adventure. Let’s get to it then! Check out more photos of our Virginia Beach trip below. And if you missed part 1, make sure to check here first.

All About the Plunging One Piece Swimsuit for Summer 2017
As you know, it’s all about the sexy/plunging one-piece suits this summer season! And yes, they FLATTER ALL BODY TYPES! So, YAY for hiding my belly! Haha. But seriously though, I was way too bloated (thanks to PMS and endometriosis) when we went to the beach. So I’m thankful for one piece suits like these. I know it’s lame and shallow, and you should wear anything your heart desires. Don’t mind what others say. Wear what YOU like. It’s just for me, what I like to wear is something that I know flatters MY body type and helps me be more confident. That way, I won’t be too conscious going about my day. I will wear what I feel good in. And if it’s a one-piece swimsuit, then so be it. I’m just grateful that it’s on trend this season!
I swear to you, just get this Pineapple towel. It’s under $30 as compared to other round towels in the $50s. Plus, it’s free shipping and returns, in case you change your mind. But I promise, you won’t. It’s just awesome!
Dessert and Filipino Bakery: Red Ribbon
Okay, enough beach photos, let’s talk food! Whenever we go to cities with a Red Ribbon Bakeshop, we absolutely have to make a stop. It’s a Filipino bakeshop that we miss back home in the Philippines. So glad they have some branches here in the USA, albeit a few. They specialize in cakes and sponge cakes. But their Halo-Halo, a Filipino dessert (in shaved ice), is a must come hot weather season!
Because Coffee: Three Ships Coffee Shop
Obviously, there has to be coffee! Thanks to one of my readers who recommended Three Ships Coffee! The place is absolutely gorgeous. I want to move in. I love the vibe in that cafe and their drinks are divine! Try the strawberry latte (pungo).
Well, that concludes part 2 of our Virginia Beach trip. Stay tuned for the last part which is dedicated to Norfolk and where we stayed. Until the next post. Xo.
