Trina Turk Jumpsuit

Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing with you this gorgeous and sophisticated Trina Turk jumpsuit. These photos were actually taken earlier this year – during SPRING! I told you previously (perhaps in my other blog too) that I have a ton of photos that haven’t even been touched. I try to take as much outfits during the weekend but with my other blog, there aren’t just enough days to post all my outfits together with non-fashion related posts. That’s why I created STYLEanthropy! While there is still a lifestyle category here, it will focus more on fashion and beauty. Let’s get back to the outfit.

If you have been following me, you may recall that I was one of the lucky nine Southern bloggers who were sent by Belk to Charleston Fashion Week. For a refresher or for those who are new, you can read it here:

  1. Announcement
  2. Day 1 Charleston Fashion Week (CHFW) + Dinner with Trina Turk
  3. Day 2 CHFW Belk Style Challenge
  4. Day 2 CHFW Belk Fashion Show
  5. Day 3 CHFW Garden Party Brunch

If you read it all and came back here, THANK YOU for keeping up! And if you did read my Dinner with Trina Turk recap post, I told you that she gave me the Tilda jumpsuit but never got the chance to show it in an outfit post yet. So as I was going through my pictures and realized I wasn’t able to post this. So here is the gorgeous jumpsuit in all its peachy coral glory!

This jumpsuit is the perfect definition of luxe – from the fabric, the style, the quality. It was, however, a size big for me. But since I’m hippy (wide hips) and have bigger thighs, I always size up in the bottoms. Since it was a jumpsuit, it was obvious in the top part. The waist was pretty loose and the top didn’t fit well. Ugh, body proportion problems! So, I opted to cinch the jumpsuit with a belt and top it off with a Taylor & Sage lace kimono that Belk gave me during CHFW too. It’s sold out but I love this other Taylor & Sage kimono as well.

The bag I’m wearing was also a gift from Belk and Brahmin! I must admit, it was the best fashion week of my life, being treated to a ton of wonderful gifts I can only hope for. Belk really took care of us and I will forever be grateful! Thank you Belk! This exact color I’m carrying is sold out. But you can find the Harrison carryall in different colors. It also comes in a new lilac cayman version which is absolutely beautiful! This mojave Melbourne is probably the closest color to what I have.
