Short Hair and a Free People Score

Guys, did you see my post on Instagram the other day? I found this amazing Free People dress – the same one like my black one from this post – for only…. wait for it… $25! Wait, what? Yes, I did. I scored a Free People dress at T.J. Maxx!!! Woohoo!

Free People Score

Imagine my surprise one morning when I decided to go to T.J. Maxx for a Grand Re-Opening event. While I didn’t win in their raffle drawing, I definitely felt like a winner! This dress was originally $148. I got my black dress on sale at Shopbop, but this color was not marked as low as the black one. If I remember correctly, it was still in the $100s. So when I found this dress at T.J. Maxx for $25? I snatched it up pretty quick!

Next, let’s talk about these sunglasses. Let me tell you, for the longest time, I’ve been WANTING a pair of Karen Walker sunglasses. The thing is, it’s just one of those accessories that I keep telling myself I’ll get at the next sale, but forget about until it’s too late. Then I tell myself I’ll get it at the next sale again and the same thing happens over and over. I mean, if I know I can get it at a Nordstrom or Shopbop sale, why wouldn’t I wait, right? After all, these sunglasses are in the $200-$250 range. So if I can save a little bit, I would.

Sunglass Subscription

You know me, I’m a sunglass girl. I love collecting designer sunnies even if my pockets don’t agree. LOL. So the solution? Buy them on sale, clearance or at discount stores. Another way to help with the budget? Just try a sunglass subscription. After all, there are so many cute designer sunglasses that come out every now and then. If I’d get each one I like, I’d be broke. But luckily, with a subscription like – you can wear all your favorite sunglasses without breaking the bank.

For only $24/month, you get to wear unlimited designer sunglasses. First, you pick one you like. It arrives in the mail (free shipping) then you can wear it for a day, a weekend or a couple of days – it’s up to you. When you’re ready to pick a new pair, just select one at and it will be shipped to you along with the packaging and shipping label to return your first pair. When you’re ready to try out a new pair, just do the same thing again. Instead of buying several pairs that can cost you hundreds of dollars, this one is just $24 for one month!

Now, let’s move on to the short hair situation. What do you think? I’m still trying to get used to it. I wasn’t gonna go this short but my stylist said for a few inches more, I can already donate my hair to I didn’t hesitate one bit. I really wanted a lob but I said, GO! I’ve always wanted to donate my hair anyway. Then at the end of the cut, I was even surprised that my hair cut at ULTA salon was free because of the donation. That’s a win-win.
