Today at STYLEanthropy, I wanted to share with you this pool side look that I #FoundAtSimon over the Memorial Day Weekend sales. I went to the Grove City Premium Outlets and had so much fun looking for great summer pieces to wear this season. I found a TON of great deals and went home with not just one summer look. But for today, I’m sharing this super cute pool side look you can wear for your next pool party or something similar!
Pool Side Look #FoundAtSimon
Looking at this pool outfit, I can’t help but think of the Fourth of July holiday! The blue, the red, and the white colors just pop, and remind me so much of the upcoming festivities. But anyway, when I saw this Tunic at the J. Crew factory, I didn’t even know if it’s just a top or a swimsuit cover up. I just knew I wanted to try it on, especially when I saw that it was on clearance for $30 with an additional 50% off, making it $15. SCORE!
The moment I tried it on (I snapped inside the fitting room, follow me at STYLEanthropy), I knew it was a perfect swim cover up. I even thought about wearing it as a dress. But when I came home and tried it, I saw it was too short with the side slits and all. I can still use this as a tunic though, and will be perfect with some denim cutoffs too!
And then when I went inside the Gap Factory at Premium Outlets, this hat just SPOKE to me! LOL. But really, I was drawn to it the moment I laid my eyes on it. And I thought it would be perfect with my tunic. So for $12 (it was on sale), I knew I had to take it home with me! There’s also a neutral trim version if you’re interested.
So I had the perfect tunic and a summer hat. I knew I needed a perfect summer sandal. I’ve been obsessed with my brown/camel suede platform espadrilles from Topshop. I love it so much, I’ve been wanting a black version. Lo and behold… when I went inside American Eagle, I saw this pair. Priced at $35 but was 40% off during the Memorial Day Weekend sales. It’s B1G1 50% off now, by the way. Anyway, I knew it would be perfect with my summer outfit!
Finally, when we headed to Old Navy, there was only one thing on my mind – an affordable beach tote to complete my look. I originally planned to get this tote. There were more prints there and were all on sale for $10. But then, next to the line to the cash register, I saw this Tres Chic tote… for SIX FREAKIN’ DOLLARS. I grabbed it instead without any hesitation. Best summer find!
Now my Bestie from high school, Tin, was visiting me that week. So she went with me to the Grove City Premium Outlets and we went crazy shopping. LOL. Our last stop was at Aldo to find these mirrored sunglasses. She got me one and got herself too, so we have #BFFSunglasses to wear for life! 🙂 Thank you Tin! Love yah. <3
Of course, I got a pair of sunnies too… but it’s not your usual “regular” pair of sunglasses. THEY ARE PINEAPPLE ones! Hahahaha. I’m so crazy. It’s so wild. It’s so ridiculous. But who cares? This pineapple-obsessed girl will wear what she wants to! It’s from American Eagle Outfitters too, but I couldn’t find it online anymore. So better check the stores if they have it, or you can also find a similar version here.
