Plaid Shirt in D.C.

Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing with you this plaid shirt I wore to D.C. a couple of months ago. I know. These are some of the photos that I didn’t have enough time to post back in Spring this year. But I am sharing them anyway because they are actually perfect for the Fall season. And in case you haven’t already noticed, I’ve been on a PLAID kick lately. Just check my Instagram.

Now you’re probably wondering, why is she in what seems to be a Fall outfit during Spring? Well, it was early Spring and I was still in the Winter to Spring transition at the time. I had my jacket in the car, in case it gets chilly at night. Plus, I scored this gorgeous plaid shirt, from the label A.B.S. by Allen B. Schwartz, for the insane amount of… drum roll please… $10… oh wait, I think it was $5. Oh dear. This is what happens when I don’t post it right away. But $5 or $10, this is an insanely low price for a popular California brand. If you’re not familiar with the label… and are an 80s or 90s kid, he founded Esprit de Corp! Yes! I grew up wearing and loving his clothes, bags and other accessories as a kid!

Anyway, this has since sold out. I only found it on clearance – one last piece in size small, yay! But don’t fret, I found you affordable options similar to this shirt, all under $30 (mostly $24.99), above.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s get back to the main topic. So last Spring, I had some business to do in D.C. and decided to go during the Cherry Blossoms festival. It was beautiful and amazing. The tourists however, were not. Haha. But despite the crazy traffic, lack of parking to accommodate hundreds of thousands of visitors, people walking everywhere, and covering all the good spots to take photos of the Cherry Blossoms, it was all worth that SHOT!

To end our short weekend trip to D.C., we couldn’t resist stopping by our fave Shake Shack burger joint. So glad that it’s coming to Dallas, guys! Yay!
