A lot of women who avoid the color pink think it’s too girly for them. Some think it’s a color only meant for children. I have to admit, when I think of the color, I think of Barbie, cotton candy and other girly stuff. But there’s a way to tame down the color and keep it age-appropriate. The answer is matching it with neutral accessories.
In this outfit, I matched my pink off shoulder top with a taupe cross body bag and neutral wooden wedges. As for the pink on pink outfit, it’s easier when you mix in a solid with prints, seen in these floral shorts. Here is today’s look for a casual fun Friday!
I’ve mentioned it to you before, but wearing neutral heels that almost look like your skin tone is such a great way to add length to your legs. It gives you the illusion of long, slim stems. So remember that tip the next time you’re wearing shorts or skirts, ladies!
And always remember, fashion is meant to be fun! So don’t be afraid to wear colors you think aren’t appropriate for your age. Try pinks, pastels, neons – whatever it is you are afraid of. Besides, if there’s a perfect time to try risks, it’s got to be summer. Do it while the summer fun is still here. Be bold and wear brights. Wear something that will put a smile on your face. 🙂
