Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing with you this super feminine pink dress from Lattori. You’ve already seen tidbits from the previous post on Diamonds and Caviar. So in this post, you’ll get the full details about this look. This is probably my first pink dress ever – except maybe when I was a kid. Not that I don’t like the color, but I tend to go for a lot of black and white combos when it comes to clothes. So hey, here’s to something new!
A few weeks ago, I got the chance to pick dresses from Lattori. I haven’t heard about the label before. So I ventured to new territory and checked their collection on their website. For some reason, this dusty rose long sleeve mini dress caught my eye. It was long sleeves – perfect for the colder seasons. The material of the top seems to be warm and cozy. It was romantic, feminine, pretty, simple, yet fancy – overall a great piece to have in handy for the Holiday season. When I received it in the mail, I was happy to see that it was even more beautiful in person!
In my mind, I wanted to wear this dress with a light gray suede over the knee boots. However, I don’t have one yet and I’m planning on getting one this Black Friday… preferably something affordable! Haha. So for now, I paired it with all things black – from the OTK boots, to the clutch, and even layered it with a puffer vest.
Speaking of puffer vests, these ever so popular J. Crew ones are 50% off. If you haven’t gotten one, do yourself a favor and reward yourself with one (or two, or three). I’m thinking of getting another – this chevron vest next or a different color, because I’m telling you, it has kept me warm in 30 degree temps. I couldn’t believe it myself!
Over the weekend, we were outdoors the whole afternoon ’til evening for some holiday activities in freezing temps and was amazed with how warm it has kept me. All the other people around me were feeling cold and I was sweating. I only had a light sweater on and a fleece jacket with this but it kept me warm and cozy. I asked the hubby if he would want to wear their men’s puffer vest. He’s not into that style. But I’m trying to convince him that it will keep him warm this winter (he walks to work – 4 buildings down our apartment) and would be a great layer underneath jackets. We’ll see.
