Pattern Mixing in Versona Pants

Happy Saturday guys! Hope you’re enjoying the long weekend. So if you’re here checking out the blog on your free time, I hope you enjoy this pattern mixing and hope it inspires one of your fall outfits. I fell in love with this Versona pants the moment I saw it in store. I’ll tell you more about it below.

Last weekend, I went to the Versona Store in Cranberry Mall. Full disclosure, I was invited to visit the store to pick up some earrings and a gift card to shop. I’ve never been to this store and I was quite surprised with the selection of fashionable pieces. Prior to my visit, I had this notion that it catered to a more mature demographic. I was wrong. I found chambray tops, plaid shirt dresses, skinny jeans, statement tees and so much more. But of course, they also had dressier pieces and work clothes too.

Striped Versona Pants

This pair of striped pants – sweater knit culottes – caught my eye and I knew they had to go home with me. Since they come in this sweater knit fabric, they are thick and perfect for Fall season too! I already have multiple ways to wear it in mind, and can’t wait to show you the other ways I style them. So make sure to stay tuned for that in upcoming posts – along with the Versona earrings that I picked!

Pattern Mixing

For today’s look, I thought it would be fun to play with patterns. If you know me well, you know I love to mix prints. If you want to try print mixing but have a hard time which print to match with what print, plaid and stripes are one of the easiest! To make it easier, choose the same colors, so they look more cohesive.

In this case, I mixed my striped Versona pants with one of my recent finds, a plaid or window pane oversized button down shirt (here’s another similar option without sleeves and this same top in a different color)!

Since the stripes and the oversized button down shirt have that masculine feel to them, I added in a pair of lace-up sandals and a gorgeous chain bag to balance it out.

And to top it all off, I added some oversized sunnies with a tortoise detail. Fall Ready! This is the Karen Walker One Splash sunglasses from Make sure to sign up for 1 free month to try their sunglass subscription when you use the code STYLEANTHROPY at checkout.
