Off the Shoulder Goodness

Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing some major off the shoulder goodness! There’s something sexy about off the shoulder tops that I love. Sometimes, showing the shoulders and collar bone can be sexier than tanks and crop tops.

Personally, I prefer them over the latter because I’m not particularly confident with my arms, especially since I’ve gained 10 pounds in the latter 2 months of the medical treatments I recently underwent. So if before I already wasn’t confident with my arms, all the more now since I’ve gained. But, fear not, fashion has its magical powers of hiding (while I work on loosing those flabs). My friends keep telling me I don’t look like I gained. Well, it’s called illusion. You just have to wear what works and avoid what doesn’t. Don’t get too caught up with trends. Accept the fact that some trends aren’t meant for all body shapes, then embrace those styles that flatter you! If the arm is your problem area, then off the shoulder style is the solution!

The off-the-shoulder style will work for those with either stick-thin arms or flabby bat wings. If you have the latter, stick with more volume and loose ruffles to hide them well. If you love these pieces as much as I do, check them out below. All are priced under $30 because we like to keep it frugal when it comes to seasonal pieces! Thanks to SheInside for such affordable and trendy items!

STYLEanthropists, let me know which off the shoulder pieces is your favorite from these stylish picks! I’m planning on getting the white floral top, pink long sleeves and/or the apricot short sleeves. Thoughts?
