Floral on Floral: Off Shoulder Top and Wide Leg Pants

Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m so excited to share with you this floral on floral outfit featuring my favorite summer staple – the off shoulder top. What’s even more special about these photos is the fact that the amazing blogger and photographer, Stephanie Drenka took these! Finally, after what seems like years, we finally caught up at the rewardStyle Masterclass and had the chance, even for a tiny moment, to do a mini photoshoot.

I’ve known Stephanie for years. She is this sweet fellow Dallas blogger who is so humble, down-to-earth and very approachable. That’s why if I’m helping out organize a blog event or hosting one, she is always on my list of bloggers to invite. I’ve seen her change blog names until she finally went with the perfect one – her name. I’ve witnessed her follow her passion, set up a successful photography business, and grow into a #GirlBoss! So having her photograph me? The honor is mine, Stephanie!

Now let’s move on to the outfit. This is what I wore to the rewardStyle Master Class that I attended a few weeks ago. Please do not mind the messy hair and sticky skin. It was a day of appointments, from Arlington to Dallas, to Arlington again and back to Dallas – not to mention the crazy rain, humidity and storm? I’m just so glad I made it to the Master Class and got a chance to shoot with Stephanie. I actually cancelled my hair appointment the last minute, thinking we won’t be able to shoot with the storm/rain. But we got lucky that it stopped raining when we got to Le Taco Cantina Dallas where the class was being held.

Like I said above and in previous posts, I’m all about off shoulder tops these days. Winter has taken a toll on me and I’m embracing every summer trend that comes my way. Regardless, I’ve always loved the “off the shoulder” trend even then. I’ve said this before, but it has that certain sexiness to it, without showing too much skin. So when Rosegal asked me to pick from their online store, this had to be one of them. And ladies, it’s under 10 bucks. Yes, only 10 freakin’ dollars that gave me so many compliments that day. I even got stopped at NorthPark because of my outfit. You should check out if you want to try new trends without breaking the bank.

To keep the summer look flowing, I accessorized with tassel details. I wore my Perry Street earrings that I got from Rocksbox, the designer jewelry subscription service I’ve been talking about on and on and on.

Guys, I’m still offering my STYLEanthropy and My Fashion Juice readers 1 month to try Rocksbox for free. They send you a set of 3 pieces of jewelry that you can wear and return when you’re done. If you want to keep any or all, that’s the only thing you’ll pay for. But if you don’t want to keep it, just return with the free shipping label included, and they’ll send you another set. You can get 2-3 sets or more, depending on how long you wear each set, in a month. You get to wear trendy jewelry from designers like Kendra Scott, Gorjana, House of Harlow, Jenny Bird and Loren Hope (like the Sarra cuff I’m wearing here) among many others. All you have to do is sign up at and enter code myfashionjuicexoxo (expired, but first three readers to use this code: CRISBFF4 will still get 1 month free) at checkout. You won’t pay anything at all. And if you don’t want to continue the subscription, just cancel online before your first month ends.

Can’t remember if I had the chance to share this pair of wide leg pants from Lauren by Ralph Lauren in an outfit post yet. But for those who are new, this is the floral wide leg pants that I chose from our Belk Style Challenge during Charleston Fashion Week last March, and above is the Brahmin bag that Belk gave me before I headed back home. You can read about that amazing week here.

oh my goodness!! I forgot that you knew me back in the “Korean Bohemian” days hahahaha!!! Back when I was a little blogging baby <3 you are an inspiration to us all… even though you're probably the most successful Dallas blogger I know, you are also the kindest and most humble. Truly a diamond in the rough.
