Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing my NYFW Day 5 outfit in a Pink Blush Maxi Dress. It was my last day in New York and I only had one show left in the morning. We were traveling back to Pittsburgh, so I knew I needed something that would be comfy enough in the car ride home. Yes, we went on a 6-hour road trip because we like it like that (and we have a four-legged baby)! I thought a super comfy, stretchy, and loose maxi dress would be perfect. And it certainly was!
NYFW Day 5 Outfit: Pink Blush Maxi Dress
Good thing this maxi dress from Shop Pink Blush arrived just in time before I left for New York Fashion Week. So I was able to bring it with me and wear it on my last day in NYC. One thing to note though, it came pretty long. So I had to hem the bottom the night before our NY trip!
Before we headed back home, I planned to stop by some of my must-visit spots in New York. I was able to check off some on my list but the others had to be put on hold for another visit because of the New York traffic! So we ran out of time to make that one last stop where I planned to take photos of my dress. Instead, we stopped when we saw this bridge upon entering Pennsylvania. It was a little city that had that old town charm. It made for a perfect backdrop for this floral maxi!
Florals For Fall
I’ve been saying it over and over again, floral prints aren’t just for Spring or Summer. If you want to wear florals for Fall, you can do so! The best or safest way to do it is by choosing a darker background like this one in black. Also, choose floral prints that are deeper or richer in color to make it appropriate for the season. Another way to make it perfect for Fall (even if you choose an ivory or light colored floral print) is by layering or mixing with no-fail Fall pieces like a faux leather jacket, boots, moto jacket, gingham, or coats!
Thank you PinkBlush for my pretty dress!
