Hey STYLEanthropy friends! Sorry if I’ve been gone for a minute. But I’m back to continue my New York Fashion Week outfits! Today, I’m sharing how I mixed high and low brands for my NYFW Day 4 outfit! I combined Marc Jacobs and The SM Store for this look. Check it out.
NYFW Day 4 Outfit: Mixing High and Low
Before New York Fashion Week, I went home to my home country, Philippines (more on that later). While there, I got this beautiful pleated plants at The SM Store. It’s in an army green color, perfect for Fall. Another thing that I love about it is that it has a lace-up waist detail. So you can adjust it to fit you perfectly, but there’s also a zipper at the back. Oh, and it also has pockets on the sides which is always a plus! The SM Store is a chain of department stores in the Philippines with pretty affordable pieces (from their line). But they also carry other local and international brands. This pair of pleated wide leg pants I’m wearing is a littler under $20 but the quality and fabric looks more than that! My sheer duster coat is also from then and also under $20!
Meanwhile, I paired them with a Marc Jacobs shirt with a metallic logo, and the Snapshot leather cross-body bag, also from the designer. I like how the high and low-end pieces combined together. What do you think?
Wearing: Marc Jacobs shirt; Marc Jacobs Snapshot textured leather bag; The SM Store pleated lace up waist pants; The SM Store sheer duster coat; Forever 21 sandals; Karen Walker sunglasses; Earrings, necklace, and bangles c/o Charming Charlie; Hermes Clic Clac H bangle; Smart watch c/o Fossil.
Hope this outfit inspires you to mix high-end and low-end brands as well. And I hope you enjoyed this look. If you have any questions, let me know. Until the next outfit post. Xo.
