New York Fashion Week FW 2014 Day 2 Outfit

Hello from New York! Well actually this is a scheduled post. By now, I’m already back in Maryland, last stop before heading back to Virginia to unpack and pack before I leave again for another trip. Not sure if I have mentioned it in my previous scheduled posts. But you’ll see soon. Hope we stay connected thru Instagram at the least! For now, let me share with you my New York Fashion Week FW 2014 Day 2 outfit. I came to NYC on day 2 of Fashion Week since we still had some stuff to attend to. So the first show that I attended was the Academy of Art University and as soon as the show was done, Emerson was next. In between the two shows, we had time to take photos outside the Lincoln Center (NYFW venue) for this #OOTD. Here’s my Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week F/W 2014 Day 2 outfit. #MBFW

Wearing: Jessica Simpson coat | oversized beanie | {c/o} Joules faux fur scarf | {c/o} T.J. Maxx striped sweater (#maxxinista) | Uniqlo thermal pants | {c/o} Marshalls DV by Dolce Vita (#fabfound) | {c/o} Anuja Tolia necklace | Proenza Schouler PS1 Bag with big thanks to ClothesHorse Anonymous Dallas | MAC Cosmetics matte lipstick in Rebel

It was a simple sweater and pants look. But the stripe print and accessories in shades of black, camel, taupe, cream and white dressed up the whole look. I love the play of edgy oversized beanie with a chic coat and luxe fur stole. Hope you like my New York Fashion Week FW 2014 Day 2 Outfit. If you love the look, you can shop them (or similar items) below. Oh, and speaking of shopping, I hope you were able to shop the Peter Pilotto for Target Collection. They went so quickly. So glad to have gotten some pieces before they totally sold out. Xo.
