Once again, it’s Tax Season. How are you maximizing your tax refund cash? Instead of using it on one big splurge, how about finding more ways to stretch it? How about getting something that gives back – something that will give you more savings in the long run? For example, replacing that old home appliance with an energy-efficient one will help lower your monthly bills. The same goes with replacing old incandescent bulbs to LED ones. Those savings will add up and you can use that for something you love. Travel perhaps? Switching to a more affordable phone plan will also bring in that extra cash. Have you checked out Walmart Family Mobile PLUS Plans yet?
Walmart Family Mobile PLUS Plan
I recently headed to Walmart and got their Walmart Family Mobile PLUS Plan for just $49.88 per line. It’s got Unlimited* Talk, Text, & Data perfect for our family (*Includes up to 10GB of 4G LTE† data then 2G). You can never have too much data, especially if you’re like me who loves to share stories and videos on social media. It’s very handy when I’m out at blogging events, sharing behind the scenes or fashion shows with my followers.
With this plan, you also get a free VUDU movie credit every month – a $7 value same as a new release rental! We’ve set a day each month for VUDU movie night. We buy take-out food that we’re craving, set up everything in the living room with the big TV, and we get to watch new release movies that we missed in theaters. It’s amazing and an affordable way to do date nights!
If you plan to make the switch, you can pick a phone or bring your own. Then, just grab a SIM Kit for only $19.88. Since Family Mobile bills you later, you only have to pay for that upon sign up.
I got the Samsung Galaxy On5 phone which retails for $119, but was currently on roll-back. So even more savings for me. YAY!

Or, if you are currently paying off debts, auto loan, or a mortgage, you can also put your extra savings towards those things, so you can finish them off earlier!
