What’s up lovelies? Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing with you this lace up top I wore a few weeks ago… and also, I’m leaving for New York… today! I know, it’s pretty last minute… but I couldn’t pass up an invite by People StyleWatch (magazine) to join the Simply Stylist Fashion and Beauty Conference! Ahhh… I’m so excited!
Why am I excited? Well, Catt Saddler of E! News is the host. Keynote speakers are Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo and Celebrity Stylist June Ambrose. Plus there are so many other amazing panelists and experts who will be there. Make sure you follow on my snapchat, username styleanthropy, because I will be snapping like crazy – more than I will post on IG, Twitter or Facebook.
So anyway, back to the outfit. What do you think of the lace up top trend? Others aren’t so welcoming. I mean, sure, there are tops that are borderline pirate-looking. Others just look overly 70’s. But if it’s a subtle lace up tie like this, I’m down. This Free People top was actually from the previous season, but I thought it’s actually perfect this Fall! The black, taupe, and olive green colors scream more autumn than summer. Plus, the long sleeves ain’t appropriate for the hot summer. So I declare, this is a perfect fall top!
I kept everything simple – folded up denim, platform loafers and my favorite Le Boy bag from Chanel.
P.S., who else is obsessed with the new Apple watch colors in gold and rose gold? I am! You can read my Apple Watch review on my tech blog, OTRZ.
