Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing a new holiday look wearing a Lazy Caturday shirt dress and some red plaid poncho! Lazy Caturday is a small online boutique based in Pittsburgh. I love supporting local. So if you’re also from here, go check out their online shop! You can also check the first holiday look that I shared wearing their boho sweater here. It’s the cutest thing! Now, let’s get to this gray and red look that I’m loving right now.
Holiday Look in Lazy Caturday Shirt Dress and a Plaid Poncho
Have I told you how I love shirt dresses? I’m practically living in them with leggings throughout the season. The sweater or shirt dress-legging combo is such an easy outfit to put together. They are comfy and cozy, yet look totally dressed up. So when I found this collared shirt dress from Lazy Caturday, I knew I had to have them. Plus, this takes out the thinking from layering.
I love the look of a button down shirt and sweater pairing – with the collar peeking out from under the sweater. But sometimes, button down shirts create unflattering or weird bulges in your sweater. So you have to be smart with the fabric/materials you pair together. This one is so convenient because it’s just one piece but with the look of two layered pieces!
And of course, another thing I love about this shirt dress is the neutral color. I love a white and gray base because it can be paired with almost anything! It’s the perfect base for Holiday colors too. Pair with with plaid jackets, scarves, or ponchos like what I’m wearing here. But you can also pair it with leopard and teddy bear coats that are currently trending. When it’s not too cold, moto jackets and bomber jackets are also perfect with this shirt dress!
