Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m going back to my roots and sharing a Gucci bag reveal. I know it’s been awhile since I did a bag reveal. I guess over time, I’ve hesitated sharing these types of posts in hopes of not offending anyone. With all the issues in the world, I know this may not be what some of you want to read about. But hey, STYLEanthropy is a fashion blog after all. You come here for fashion, beauty and style. If you want to read about the current news and politics, then there’s a place for that. So, for those who love to read about fashion and bags in particular, read on.
About a month ago, I gave you a sneak peek of this bag here. I actually gave a sneak peek on my snapchat too. But it’s only now that I’m sharing with you the actual bag. Of course, if you’ve got hawk eyes on purses, and are a bag addict like me, then you already know what the bag is. It’s the Gucci Soho Leather Bag!
If you’ve been following the blog for awhile, then you know I always feature the Gucci Spring/Summer sale… and that I’m also always looking for a great deal on their bags. In the past, I’ve gotten great deals on their purses from their annual sale. So this year wasn’t any different. I’ve been saving up for that sale. I even got rid of my other purses that I no longer use. I guess my view on collecting bags have changed. Now, I don’t see the point of keeping bags that I haven’t used in years. I would rather sell it for a reasonable price and get something new that I wanna wear NOW.
One of my MOST used bags for the past 2 years is my Gucci Disco Soho bag. I also got it at the Gucci Sale a few years ago and I’m so happy I did. I’ve gotten so much use out of that bag – from traveling, casual days, running errands to even more formal events.
Over the years, Gucci really stepped up their game. I’m actually dying to get a Dionysus and was SUPER HOPING they would be included in the sale. But ALAS, they weren’t (as expected).
Nevertheless, upon perusing the sale, I was happy to find the Soho leather shoulder bag included in this year’s sale. I actually wanted to get this Gucci bag last year. But after checking back, it sold out quickly. So this year, I made sure I was ready and quick to purchase. I’ve already thought about the purchase weeks before the sale. And luckily, it so happened I got a really nice sponsor that provided a generous gift card to cover the amount of the bag. So, YAY!!!
I’m super happy about this Gucci bag. I’ve tried so hard not to show it in any of my previous outfit posts until I do a bag reveal. So finally, here it is. Expect to see it more often now that I’ve done my bag reveal. Xo.
