Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing something polka for Fall! You know my mad love for plaid. But I can’t say no to a good old classic polka dot dress too. There’s something fun about polka dot, that even the simplest of dresses gets easily spruced up.
While polka dot may not be an autumn print, mixing it with fall-appropriate pieces like tights or leggings, and an over-the-knee boot allows it to blend well with the season. We had a lucky break last week here in Pittsburgh, enjoying the 60s (F) weather. So I was more than happy to ditch the thick jackets and break into this gorgeous dress. But don’t worry, you can definitely layer this piece with a faux fur vest and a faux leather jacket when it gets chilly. I just had to show it to you without the layers, so you can see what it looks like on its own.
I love that you can wear this for warmer weather during Spring and Summer. The fabric is thin, but you can always layer it up for Fall season too. I love that the navy color makes it appropriate for both warm and cooler temps. You can mix it up with an oversized sweater, a trench coat or a parka, and I promise you’ll still look cute and cozy at the same time.
If you love this dot dress, it’s under $15 bucks, guys! Yup, you read that right. It’s from LUCLUC and I’m happy to announce that I’m one of their latest fashion blogger partners. So come check out this piece on their website to support me. 🙂 You’ll be seeing me wear more pieces from the brand and the next one will be on my other blog, My Fashion Juice. Stay tuned for that.
By the way, definitely size up when ordering this dress if you want an oversized look like that in the model’s photo in the product page. But if you want a fit look like how I’m wearing it in these photos, then choose your usual size. Just to be sure, check the measurements in their size chart and read product description when shopping from their site.
In other news, how crazy are my claw nails? This was taken pre-halloween, thus the “blood splatter” design. It was really fun sporting these nails, but I had to take them out today because it was so hard to do anything with these nails. Haha! To those who wear claw nails on a regular basis, I applaud you!
