DIY Pom Pom Hat for Fourth of July

Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing this SUPER EASY and fun DIY pom pom hat for Fourth of July. You can also use it for any other occasion because below, I’ll be explaining how you can customize this to any print or color you’d like to use. Love pink? Then use pink-colored pom poms! Love neon or pastel colors, you can switch the trim to your liking! I’m just here to give you an idea how to go about this super easy project!

DIY Pom Pom Hat for Fourth of July

What You’ll Need

  • Straw or any summer hat
  • Ribbon trim, bandana, or strip of fabric – if your hat doesn’t have any trim.
  • Glue gun
  • Pom pom – I got these at the Dollar section at Target, but you can easily find it at fabric or craft stores.

Love this idea? You can make this for any other occasion this summer season! You can make it with different colored pom poms or a different colored bandana if your hat doesn’t have any trim. Use any strip of fabric you like. Just glue gun it like I glue-gunned the pom poms. Also, you can stick pom poms all around the hat if that’s your style. The thing is, you have full control on how to decorate your hat. I’m just showing you how easy it is to customize a hat to your liking.
