Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing with you one of the latest products from Dermalogica, the Stress Positive Eye Lift. It’s been a busy couple of weeks. Even on the weekends, I feel like we’re always traveling or I’m still hustling deadlines. There were even days when I would stay up all night just to finish posts. So yeah, I’m no stranger to stressed eyes and eye bags. This product could not come at a better time. Thank you so much to Dermalogica for sending these along with my new favorite mirror!
Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift
I gave you a sneak peek last March. But this product was officially on shelves last April. This new Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift is kind of a leave-on eye masque. You squeeze the tube and the product comes out in the silver/metal tip that feels cool to the skin. It is said to brighten, lift, de-puff, and energize.
The wild indigo seed extract brightens dark undereye circles, sea water extract counters the look of puffiness and hyaluronic acid firms to lift the skin.
There’s a technique to follow when applying and massaging it around the eyes. So to make sure you’re doing it right, check out the video demonstration here >> www.dermalogica.com/eyeliftDIY.
When I went to Dallas last March, this was one of the things I couldn’t leave home without. Before I put on makeup or after I cleanse my face, this was always one of the beauty products I reached for. Not only was it soothing, it really helped de-puff the bags. I also love the convenience, being it in a tube and not having to dip my fingers. No mess! Now, I always take it with me to my travels and always use it prior to getting ready. The downside is that it’s $65. Not as expensive as other luxury skincare, but still a bit pricey.
Dermalogica Daily Superfoliant
Along with the Stress Positive Eye Lift, the other Dermalogica products I’m loving are the Daily Superfoliant and the Phyto Replenish Oil. I’ve already talked about the Phyto Replenish Oil here before. So let’s focus on the Daily Superfoliant. It’s a highly-active superfine powder (activated binchotan charcoal) exfoliant that leaves skin ultra-smooth. It detoxifies the pores and also helps prevent adherence of skin-aging pollutants. As you know, pollution is accelerating your skin’s aging. So to fight that, I use this after cleansing my face. It’s just like an exfoliant but with anti-aging properties. The only thing is, it’s a little messy because it’s powder. So you just want to be careful when pouring it out of the bottle into your hands. Just keep it in the sink and you’ll be fine. Another thing, it’s $58. But a little goes a long way. And with a great product, it’s totally worth it.
