Today at STYLEanthropy it’s a double post Monday, just because! Well, I’ve been behind and been busy on the other blog as of late. Plus, I’m still talking about Day 2 in Charleston! I made two posts for Day 2 because there were just so many photos and stories to talk about that day. If you missed this morning’s post, read the morning Belk Style Challenge here. As promised in that post, I’m about to share with you the evening’s festivities. So how about we start off with photos from the Belk tent during the media event and Blogger Meet & Greet?
Photos by Charleston photographers: Caroline Tan and Terrence Edwards
In case you’re not familiar with faces and/or names, that’s Fern Mallis in the middle right there!!! Umm, she’s just well… the creator of New York Fashion Week, if you even have to ask! We were beyond thrilled to have met her in person! This is fashion history for me y’all! We’ve met a lot of other wonderful people from Charleston while mingling at the tents. I have to hunt those photos down from Charleston websites and blogs. So if you find any, send them my way so I can share. But of course, there were lots of photos with my favorite bloggers too!
WEARING: Fiona Maxi Dress c/o Laundry by Shelli Segal, jacket and short necklace c/o ShopLately, Town & Reese long necklace c/o Belk, snake print sandals c/o French Connection, Kate Spade bangle c/o Belk, Michael Kors buckle bangle, Nine West rhinestone bracelet, earrings c/o Ashley Schenkein, Ivy bracelet c/o Kendra Scott, Chanel Boy bag in old medium.
Trina Turk was also there, doing interviews. Aside from mingling, there were lots of food and cocktails…
and live music too…
We went back to the hotel for a delicious dinner prepared for us by Belk. And afterwards, we hit the tents for the fashion shows. Kyle K’Otic wowed us with an amazing performance opener. He was simply amazing y’all!
Be wowed yourself:
Belk showed their Garden Party, Islander and Sport Chic style statements, plus a final showcase of Trina Turk’s SS15 collection. I gotta tell you, it was so much fun. It’s nothing like I’ve seen during New York Fashion Week because most of the models were smiling and simply having fun. There were lots of dancing on the runway and I really love the twins. You’ll find out about them soon enough. Take a look.
It was so hard to choose my favorite but you know my love for black and white… so that dress above just hit the sweet spot on my heart. And oh my, those shoes!!!
Trina Turk Spring 2015
I’m showing this jumpsuit to you because that’s what I got from Trina Turk when we had an intimate dinner with her. It’s just amazing and I can’t wait to style it. Thank you so much to Trina Turk and Belk! After showing the Trina Turk collection, the “TRINA” guys came out and Ms. Arlene Goldstein thanked Trina Turk (below) for gracing us with her presence that night!

It was such a wonderful night of fashion shows and all of us Belk Southern Style Summit bloggers had so much fun! Me and Erika capped the night with some hotel bar food before calling it a night. When we came back to our rooms though, there were even more gifts waiting for us! Would you like me to do a haul video? I think so too. Stay tuned for that!
STYLEanthropists, thanks for taking the time to visit and reading all about my Day 2 Belk Fashion Show experience here. Until the next! XO.
