Today at STYLEanthropy, we’re talking customized dresses featuring this eShakti off shoulder chambray dress. I love chambray. Chambray practically works with EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. Now ever since the off shoulder neckline came about (several seasons ago), I’ve been obsessed with anything off shoulder – from tops to dresses. So when eShakti offered me a chance to customize a dress for myself… you know where this is going…
That’s right! I went with a chambray dress with an off shoulder neckline. Ahhh… two favorites in one piece – can’t get better than this. eShakti is a one-of-a-kind online retailer that sells clothing that you can customize. You can change up the sleeves into long, 3/4, short or even take out the sleeves completely. You can change the length of a dress or skirt into a maxi, midi, knee-length or mini. You can also change the neckline… or even add pockets too.
Basically, the possibilities are endless… and that’s why I love this online shop. You can pick from existing pieces in their website and turn it to something completely your own… to your liking! Here are some of my favorites that I would love to customize too.
You know those times when you see a cute dress but wished it was shorter or longer? Or found a cute top that you wish had longer sleeves (to hide the batwings, haha)? Well, that’s the beauty of eShakti! You can customize a dress or a piece of clothing according to how you like it.
This dress started out to be way longer and had shorter sleeves. But since Spring weather here in Pittsburgh tends to be chillier than most states, I opted for longer sleeves. And because I’m not so much a fan of the midi, especially because I have shorter legs than my torso, I wanted to make it shorter. And so I did. Thinking about it now, I wish I could have made it a little bit shorter, but I’m pretty happy with how this off shoulder chambray dress turned out to be. What do you think?
If you checked my previous post, then you’ve already seen a peek of this dress and how I accessorized it. But in case you haven’t, here are more photos of my accessories. You can also hop to this post for details on the jewelry.
