Welcome back to STYLEanthropy, friends! Today, I’m excited to share with you my current favorite makeup products and makeup bag. I brought these beauty goodies with me to our recent trip to Ohio, New York, and Philadelphia. Yep, that’s how I love them. Some of them are newer than the others, while some have been my ride or die products since last year. This is not a complete list of my favorites, but ones that stood out from the rest at the moment. Want to find out what beauty products I’m loving? Read on…

I’ve been in to nudes lately. And I think the addition of peachy tones is just the perfect amount of color to keep the full look neutral. I like to keep it simple and minimalist when it comes to my go-to makeup look. But of course, that doesn’t mean I won’t wear a bright pink or purple lip every now and then. But at the moment, I’m all about this clean look. That’s why I love my current faves that I listed above. I used all of them here.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette
It may come as a surprise to you, but this is actually my first Too Faced eyeshadow palette. I didn’t have the ever so popular chocolate ones. So when the Sweet Peach line from Too Faced launched late last year, I just had to try the eyeshadow palette ($49) out. I was deciding what to get with the big birthday discount I had and decided to go with this. Boy was I surprised. It was so smooth and soft on my skin. No fall out – at least with all the colors that I tried. It was highly pigmented and blends so easily. And did I say how smooth this was on my lids? Amazing! Oh, and the pigment is great too. You know I’ve been a loyal Urban Decay fan but when I tried Too Faced, I’ve been converted. I’m still a UD fan, of course. But Too Faced is a whole ‘nother level. Now, the Chocolate Bar palettes are on my wishlist.
IT Cosmetics You Sculpted Contour Palette
Ever since receiving it (was it early last year?), I’ve talked about It Cosmetics You Sculpted ($40) being one of my favorites and go-to makeup products ever. When I’m going for a full face of makeup, I ALWAYS reach out for it. It’s just so easy to use and highly pigmented. The illustration on the palette itself, next to the mirror, just makes contouring super easy even for first timers. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Storybook Cosmetics Wizard Wand Makeup Brushes
I have been in love with my Storybook Cosmetics wizard wand makeup brushes ever since receiving them last December. When I heard they were coming out with these wands inspired by one of my favorite movies ever, I just had to make sure I got them – whether they were good or not, I was just in it for the wands – haha! But fret not, they do the job pretty well!
I pre-ordered these several months back. They always got SOLD OUT. But, it was definitely worth the wait. If you’re interested, Storybook Cosmetics released a new version of their Wizard Wands Makeup Brushes. But honestly, I prefer the ones I have. I’m so glad I decided to get them early. It was one of my birthday gifts for myself. Currently, the new version retails for $55 for 5 pieces and according to their site, brushes now ship in 10 days. At least you don’t have to wait for months. 🙂
Rodial Instaglam Compact Banana Powder
If you’re already doing the “baking” make-up trend, or just want to set your makeup, this will be your best friend. This Rodial Instaglam banana powder was one of the products that were sent to me by Rodial and this instantly became my MOST FAVORITE out of all the products they sent me. It just looks so good. It mattifies your makeup and just gave me that smooth and flawless face. Yes, it’s pricey at $57. BUT ALL WORTH IT. P.S. Rodial is a UK brand.
Too Faced Sweetheart Flush Blush
Do you buy something because it’s just wayyyyyy too cute? Umm, guilty! When I saw this heart shaped blush with those three perfectly looking shades, I just had to get them. This Too Faced Sweetheart Flush Blush ($30) has now become my go-to blush and replaced everything else I had been using before. It’s like my blush and highlighter in one. I use all three colors together in one swipe and it gives me that highlight blush ombre effect on my cheeks! Check the photo below to see what I mean. I LOVE it!
If there’s one thing that I don’t like about it though, it has to be the box/cardboard packaging. The shape, color, and design are all great. But the material (cardboard) used feels cheap. Nevertheless, I still highly recommend it. It’s just so good.
Bite Beauty Lip Liner and Lipstick
I received a few of these Bite Beauty lip liners ($18 each) and matching lipsticks ($26 each) compliments of Influenster and Bite Beauty. I didn’t know what to expect since it was my first time trying the brand. Well, they passed my test with flying colors. They were smooth and creamy on application. They didn’t dry my lips. PLUS, the color is just oh so gorgeous!!! I’ve tried several nude shades in the past. And usually, I just look like an anemic person. But this? This one is love.
Contents by Allegro Makeup Bags
You may have seen this lovely makeup bag ($19.99) at one of your Target runs. There are so many gorgeous prints, perfect for your next vacation, but this one is my favorite. I brought this with me to my last two trips and they made getting ready super easy. The hanging valet doesn’t take up precious counter space especially when you’re in a small New York hotel bathroom. Check out the rest of my picks below.
