Today at STYLEanthropy, let’s talk about transitioning a crop top from summer to fall season! Plus, there’s also a giveaway below. I teamed up with Pink Basis to give one lucky My Fashion Juice and STYLEanthropy reader a $50 gift card to shop whatever you like on their website. Pink Basis has a mix of trendy and very sexy pieces. Today, I’m sharing with you their matching tassel crop top and shorts.
Tassels, matching sets, and crop tops were all the rage last Summer season. I know it’s already Fall. But hey, down south and the west coast, it still feels like summer. So let me just hold on to it a bit longer! Let me share with you how I wore this outfit for the warmer temps…
Crop Top for Summer
The cross body bag has become my favorite companion the past couple of months. When it’s hot, you just don’t wanna be sweating even more from carrying a heavy bag. At the same time, flatform sandals, specifically this white sole and gold strap one has become my go to pair. It’s comfy, surprisingly light, matches every single summer outfit, casual, and yet adds a bit of glam with the metallic color! It’s now on clearance for 17 bucks. You have to get it because you can still wear it next summer for sure!
I accessorized with mostly gold jewelry: a monogram necklace, a thin long layering piece, thin bangles from Alex & Ani, a gold-colored leather wrap bracelet and a polka dot bangle that mimics the print on my top. Let’s not forget my ever reliable and dependable, “wear with anything”, and “looks good with any face shape” Ray-ban aviators. I topped it off with a floppy hat to keep me protected from the sun! I matched it with the Kai-Lea matte to the max liquid lipstick from Velvet 59. Isn’t that color amazing?
Crop Top for Fall
Now as promised, I’m sharing with you how I wore my Pink Basis crop top for Fall. This time I wore it with a black skirt (try fringe) and loafers! By the way, those loafers look designer but are only under $35. You can also wear it with some boyfriend (or slightly slimmer girlfriend) jeans. You can also wear it with high waisted flares to go with the 70s trend this Fall.
Another way to transition it to Fall is with a fedora or floppy hat and accessorize with a saddle bag – both I already wore for my summer version.
Since this crop top has an open back, you can also try wearing it with a tank top when it gets chillier. You can also layer it with an oversized scarf or poncho if you wish! There are so many ways to prolong your Summer looks to Fall, and it’s mostly by layering with some Fall staples!
So, which one is your favorite look with the Pink Basis Tassel crop top? Summer or Fall?
