A few weekends ago, the family went to Eagle Rock Resort in Hazleton, Pennsylvania for their summer fest. It was fun to bring the nieces to pet farm animals, ride ponies, play in the bounce houses, and enjoy summer food among other activities. Louis, on the other hand, was not impressed. He was more scared than happy because of the DJ and the many people who attended (in the pavillion/picnic area not shown here). Because of age, he now gets easily frightened of loud noises. So we decided to get him anti-anxiety drops. We have yet to really test it out. So I’ll report back to you in case you’re in the same boat. Anyway, let’s get back to the outfit.
All Blue Outfit at Eagle Rock Resort
While out doing last-minute grocery-shopping before our trip, I walked pass by this blue dress at… you’ll never guess it… WALMART! It was under $15 and looked like it could pass up as a coverup. I just realized that I no longer have dress coverups in my closet, since I almost always wear denim cutoffs and an off-shoulder on top of swimsuits these days. I have one that I wore to death this summer. So I knew I wanted something else. I didn’t have time to shop because it was a hectic week, knowing I was traveling back home to the Philippines in just a few days after this. I tried it out and it was pretty long on me (more like a midi length). So I got it shortened just enough for it to be beach appropriate. There’s a beach part at Eagle Rock Resort. Though we didn’t get to stay for long because it RAINED! Ugh!

P.S. Sending prayers to all those affected by Hurricane Harvey. You are in my thoughts and prayers. <3 <3 <3
