Blackout Outfit

Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing with you this monochromatic blackout outfit. The last couple of weeks of winter, I saw myself reaching out for blacks and more blacks. The last time I went to the mall, I bought 4 black bottoms and 2 black & white tops. Perhaps the long and dreary Winter season swayed me into reaching out for dark and gloomy pieces. But that doesn’t mean an all black outfit can’t pack a punch. Just take a cue from Miranda Kerr’s all black outfit.

You may have seen a ridiculous amount of black ripped denims all over the internet, and that’s for good reason. I, myself, have worn this pair a million times ever since acquiring them. They simply work with anything and everything. Plus they are great at slimming!

Another slimming effect trick? Wear a monochromatic look! Thus, the blackout outfit. By wearing all black from head to toe, you look taller and in turn, slimmer. You can also do this with other colors. Go with neutrals and pastels for Spring!
