Today at STYLEanthropy, I’m sharing a mini renovation of our master bathroom! This is also a master bath reveal of our new house! We’ve been working non-stop on our mid-century home ever since moving in last December. I first shared with you a “half reveal” of our kitchen here, and then our kitchen nook here. Now, I’m super excited to share with you our bathroom. Although we still have future updates we want to do in our bathroom, I am super happy with how it looks like now! Make sure you watch the video below to see the progress and transformation of this bathroom!
Bathroom Mini Renovation + Master Bath Reveal
The house that we got is a mid-century home. So we knew from the very start that we will be updating things in the house. I wasn’t too fond of the bathroom. It was decent, but pretty outdated. I believe that a home should be a reflection of yourself. So I made sure to decorate it to match our styles – modern and bright. Trying to avoid any major expensive renos – we opted for a fresh coat of paint, changed the hardware, and brightened up the space with modern decor!
Please watch the video below to see the whole transformation, and to learn our future plans for the bathroom!
Keeping the Vanity
In case you were wondering why I opted to keep the vanity instead of replacing it to a double sink one (I’m super in love with this complete bathroom vanity set here), there are a couple of factors – mainly budget! We tried to keep our bathroom reno budget low as much as possible because we will need that in the kitchen and the second bathroom in the basement. The kitchen needs new appliances, new cabinets, and an island. The second bathroom in the basement is currently just a toilet. We’ll be adding a shower in there too! So you can just imagine how expensive those things can get!
Now the second reason why I decided to keep the current vanity is because I like the huge counter space! I like that I’ll be able to put a ton of stuff in there when I’m getting ready. I can put clothes, hair dryer, curling iron, all the beauty products that I need and so much more – even when my husband is using the sink! Anyway, below are more photos of the bathroom and sharing product information used in this bathroom renovation / transformation!
- Bathroom soap dispenser – extra 20% off with code HOMEREFRESH. I also love this and this marble one here.
- Small wire basket with copper handle
- Blue and white trellis bath rug – comes in different colors too
- Black cabinet pulls with copper edge – can’t find online but these pulls are similar
- Delta faucet – or try this rounded style here
- Black/bronze toilet flush lever – can’t find the exact one we got but this lever is pretty similar
- Shower Curtain Rod and hooks

Hope this reveal and documentary of our bathroom reno got you inspired to update your bathroom as well. You don’t have to do any major renovation to update the look of your bath! Sometimes, a fresh paint, replacing bath fixture, or a set of new bath rugs and towels can do the trick! Happy decorating!
Now, it’s time to pamper with a nice bubble bath and some bath bombs c/o Sky Organics! Do you know they have a bath bomb subscription? Check them out at box.skyorganics.us.
