Hey STYLEanthropy friends! It’s time for another 3 Fave Things Thursday and I’m sharing sporty couple outfits. Because let’s be honest, I’m not wearing boho dresses, girly blouses, and high heels all week. While it’s fun to play dress up every now and then, I like to be comfy, casual, and sporty when the hubby and I are out to walk Louis, go to parks, stroll the neighborhood, or go on our weekend bike rides. So for today, I’m sharing sporty pieces that I’m loving lately.
3 Fave Things Thursday: Sporty Couple Outfits
1. SKYE Footwear
Cool, comfortable, lightweight, goes well with almost anything… oh, and also unisex – that’s how I would describe the Rbutus sneakers that the husband and I are wearing here. These pairs were sent to us by SKYE Footwear, a sneaker brand that started out in Vancouver, Canada. Now, they are available online and at select stores in Canada. If you wanna try it out, I have a 15% off discount code for you! Just enter styleanthropySKYE at checkout at www.skyefootwear.com. Code is valid until October 31, 2017.
2. Supreme New York Backpack
Now, I have been thinking about getting a new backpack for either me or the hubby for the longest time. Whenever we would go on a trip, he prefers to bring a backpack because we always do some sort of outdoor activity. Last time, we went hiking. He brought his more than a decade old backpack which is surprisingly still in tact. I, on the other hand, brought my small leather backpack. I was hesitant because delicate leather under the heat of the sun is not good. But the only other backpack that I have is a white fleece one (for winter). So that was definitely a no-no. That’s why backpack was in my list of “to-buy” in case I come across one that I like.
Fast forward to last week. I decided to check Supreme’s website. I remember a couple of months ago, when I first started checking their online shop. It was always, and I mean ALWAYS, sold out. So I told myself, I’d wait for the next time I’m in New York to just shop at their store. So last NYFW, I went to their store. And gasp… the line spread throughout 3 streets. At first, you’d think it was just a short line outside their shop. But no. Because they didn’t want to block other shops, the line continues to the next street. And after that, another line across that street. YEP. So as soon as I found out (and because I only had a few minutes to spare), I left. I told myself I’d be better off stalking their website. Haha. So last Thursday, lo and behold, the last back pack that was available… I think it was fate. lol!
3. prAna Sustainable Fashion
Finally, I’m currently loving my prAna Mantra pants that the brand sent me. It has some stretch to it. So I can definitely use it to work out, do outdoorsy stuff, and what not. It’s a little long, so I had to fold it (see pic). But I’m definitely getting that hemmed soon. The best thing about it is that it’s made of hemp and organic cotton. Hemp is safer for farmers and the land because it doesn’t require chemical pesticides or fertilizers. I actually posted about them here. And I also have a discount code for you. Enter code TMF17CZ for 15% off up to October 19, 2017.
Well, that’s it for this week, friends. I’m working on my NYFW recap. So stay tuned for that! Until then. Xo.
