Hello STYLEanthropy friends! For today’s 3 Fave Things Thursday, I’m sharing my NYFW Essentials. No, this is not another survival guide to New York Fashion Week, or everything that I’m packing. I’ve shared a similar one before and I’m pretty sure you’ve read hundreds of them from other bloggers by now. Instead, my NYFW essentials are actually the 3 accessories that I’m pretty excited about for this season’s NYFW. Best of all, while they may be designer pieces, they are all under $400! Yes, including a designer bag and a popular leather belt! Read on!
3 Fave Things Thursday: NYFW Essentials
Marc Jacobs Snapshot Shoulder Bag
Marc Jacobs is stepping up the game recently and I’m super in love with his designs. Case in point, this Marc Jacobs snapshot shoulder bag which is actually under $300! I. MEAN. HOW. FREAKIN. CUTE. Yes, it’s tiny. But it’s been the trend the past few season now. And I don’t mind slinging this on my body with another spacious tote in tow (if I seriously have to bring a lot). But if I were just running errands or going to grab dinner, I don’t need the whole house with me. I only need a tiny bag that can fit my phone, cards/money, lipstick, tissue, and a pill box (for my pain killers, let’s be honest). That’s it.
Marc Jacobs Grand Platform Sneakers
Ahh… the moment I set my eyes on this pair of Marc Jacobs sneakers, I knew I HAD to HAVE it! Yep, I know. It’s pretty bold. Gold sneakers? I know. But you only live once. And hello? Gold, black, and white? Those are my signature colors ever since! So yeah. Come to Mama!!! Hahahaha (evil laugh)!!!
The only fave item here that went a little over $300 is this ever so popular Gucci belt. To be exact, this Gucci belt currently retails for $330. I thought about it long and hard whether I should get this thin version or the wider belt – which is probably what you’ve seen a lot of other fashion insiders and bloggers wear. But in the end, the outfit I’m wearing it with, along with other possible outfits I’d wear in the future, would look better with a thinner belt. At least that’s how I would style it at the moment.
